Sunday, March 15 from 11:00 at the summit of the Ouillon ski area Les Sybelles, the producers of the Cheese Cooperative Laitière Valley of Arves organize this animation with live production and tasting offered to discover this precious gourmet local heritage with sweet and fruity flavors.
A copper tank of more than 400 liters of raw milk will be transported to the top of the slopes to make, before the skiers, a millstone of the mythical cheese dubbed “The Prince of Gruyères”: the Beaufort.
Program of this day:
– meeting and exchanges with local producers
– demonstration and manufacture of a Beaufort wheel
– cheese and Sybelles Bulles from Philippe Viallet Wines tasting for all gourmands who wish to sharpen their taste buds! An atypical event, not to be missed! Come with family or friends to discover the cheese trade and the love that farmers have to preserve their alpine pasture and mountains.
